Minor issues: The melodramatic tone, the realistic world design, everything about Chaos Island, the boss fights being INCREDIBLE spectacle without a lot of substance or challenge, some of the ways they characterized Tails & Eggman.
Silly question: what specifically didn't you like about Frontiers again? I feel like there's a bunch of different things it could be.
Honestly curious if our issues overlap, and I'm someone who likes the game.

Hey, the only thing that's for sure about Sonic is that nothing's for sure. I think they'll iterate on the open-zone formula next time, but it's anybody's guess what exactly that'll *mean*.

Honestly, Frontiers + SOAP Shoes is prolly my favorite Modern Sonic model anyway, and Superstars is easily the best the character has ever looked in 3D. So I guess I just don't have much to complain about when it comes to this stuff!

Love these new delightfully off-model figures from Fang designer Shin’ichi Higashi. You could make the argument they're somewhere between a little too weird and not quite weird enough, but I'll take my orangutan Eggman and Charlie-Brown-Ninja-Turtle Knuckles however Sega cares to serve them to me
