We need to talk about the rise of "smol bean fascism" where you have all the guns and the immunity but the really scary people are the ones with whistles and phone cameras and they're giving you generational trauma and ptsd by filming you killing people for no reason

"Xi got mad everyone kept telling him the PLA isn't ready" isn't impossible or even implausible, but I do think "Xi freaked out when he realized that almost a decade after the 17 reforms way too much of the PLA still thinks their primary job is bribes" is the more likely of the two

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
