If you work for ICE, quit now.

Your chances for future employment, meaningful friendships, and frankly, not getting shanked in prison are already pretty slim, but if you quit RIGHT NOW you might avoid the worst of what is coming.

Especially if you blow some whistles, and then testify.

Hi folks, I'm seeing a lot of "Eyes on Minneapolis" & "We support Minnesota" sentiment. Here's a tangible way you can help:

Trump just suspended federal funding for SNAP benefits to Minnesota. Second Harvest Heartland is an MN-based hunger-relief org.

Please donate what you can.

Last term I tried an experiment: I walked into my Tech and Design Ethics class, admitted that I had *no idea* what to do about ChatGPT - so I would let them figure it out.

As in: their first project was to decide and write the ChatGPT policy for the class.

Here's what happened:

National media should really be covering the fact thay every major school, museum, and arts institution in the Twin Cities, and hundreds of local businesses are closed tomorrow to protest federal occupation.

Nothing like this at this scale has happened anywhere in America anytime in living memory.

There is nothing about him that is not disappointing.

On the national stage, treat him like Andrew Cuomo.

His constituent since 2000, since he was on the Board of Education. Through his congressional, then gubanatorial tenure. More wasted promise than a gifted kid.
Gov. Jared Polis unilaterally stalled a specialized prison program aimed at rehabilitating and releasing people who have served decades for crimes committed as juveniles and young adults, @denverpost.com's Shelly Bradbury reports. After 2023, Polis stopped signing off on the early releases.

So I shared this thread on the 100th anniversary of the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924 & I'll share again because I think it is important for folks to know what it is the Trump admin has to undo to undo our US citizenship in order to set a precedent for challenging birthright citizenship.
Forgot to share here but to help put this into perspective, my great grandma was 9 years old when ALL Native Americans gained US citizenship on June 2, 1924 with the Indian Citizenship Act.

Use the materials you're hoarding.
Use that cute pen, the fancy tape, one of the 40 notebooks.
Draw with those alcohol markers before they dry up.

Art materials are meant to be used, not gather dusts.

"I'm afraid to waste it." Time spent using them = experience. And experience is never wasted.

That is called murder when they do that.

Some cops are working hard to convince people otherwise.
