I thought they'd all have AI girlfriends by now.
If they can't manage their own lives, how are they going to manage a family? Without ruining it, of course.

Dear MAGA,

If you didn't want us to torch the mean asshole who made President Biden's age / physical condition an issue -- despite the fact he's only 2 years younger and in WORSE shape -- you shouldn't have thrown rocks in that glass house.

Turnabout is fair play.
Buckle up.

Ugly!!
This is a place I lived in for 3 months, a lifetime ago. Someone took the "meh" decor and made it into...this. This is the second such former home given the "bleah primery/ putty gray with white cabinetry" treatment. Yeah, start neutral, there's less to undo when you move in. Still ugly. /1

Yesterday my partner and I counted all the ads along Chicago's Brown Line for "Friend," a company selling an AI chatbot pendant, and tallied how many of those ads were defaced.

Still working on a longer piece on this, but here's the quick and dirty: we counted 104 "Friend" ads total, 42 defaced.

Start with whipping up a wee batch of guacamole. 1 avocado, three diced cherry tomatoes, about a quarter of a white onion (diced), juice of one lime, salt & pepper

The Parazine family in NW Florida was originally an Italian family, Paragini, in the 1830-40s. There are nearly a dozen manglings of the spelling in Census and other records, but the "Parazine" name took root around 1910.
By and large, nearly the entire Parazine family lives in NW FL. /1

Fort Pickens required 21.5 million bricks in its construction. Three decades on, thanks to newly-rediscovered concrete and a different design philosophy, Fort Jefferson required only 16 million bricks despite being slightly larger.

Some tongues were made to praise God. Some tongues were made to sing. Some were made for poetry, some for prose, some to agitate and some to soothe.

But some tongues were made for the boot.
