Everything you need to know about current Democratic "leadership."
Vote them out.
The House is close to passing a congressional stock-trading ban, but now Hakeem Jeffries is pitching his own version of the bill. “It’s an attempt to undermine and kill off the only legislative vehicle that is gaining momentum.” From @ddayen.bsky.social: trib.al/M81vMAD
Jeffries Undercuts Congressional Stock Trading Ban - The American Prospect
A bipartisan solution was gaining momentum, but the House Democratic leader just issued his own bill that will prevent consensus.

Big news out of Montana: Dr. Thomas Weiner has lost his license and will never practice medicine there again as the medical board finally responds to reports that he hurt and mistreated people. They noted Scott Warwick, who got 10 years of chemo etc, died from it, but never had cancer. Context 👇
Let me tell you a story – one of the more haunting I’ve seen in 20 years of journalism. It’s about greed, death and denial. It took two years to unravel one doctor’s myth, a hospital’s complicity in creating it, and a documented trail of suspicious deaths…🧵

This Yglesias piece in the NYT is horrifically bad. Almost every "fact" it cites is provably false. At best it is cocktail party banter from a pundit who knows nothing of energy. At worst, it was cut/paste from oil industry talking points. So, a rebuttal: www.nytimes.com/2025/12/18/o...

No. It’s a great time to be a violent criminal in America. Our most sophisticated law enforcement agencies are busy hunting landscapers & housekeepers.
Is there any precedent in modern history for a mass shooting occurring in a public setting with 10+ casualties and the perpetrator not being apprehended? It's really hard to fathom.

Sadly it's not so different in Oregon, where there's been a Democratic super majority. We're terrible in K-12 education, child foster care, housing affordability, and jobs.
And yet no one has stepped up to run against our incumbent governor @tinakotek.bsky.social
What's up @ordems.bsky.social ?
