sales pitches I’ve heard heat pump people can’t actually explain how they work. They imply heat pumps magically extract warm air secretly hidden in -20 air & just move into your house for free. Seriously, wtf? I doubt the $8,000 cost would save $400/yr. & I doubt they last 20yrs maintenance free.
It may be the case that BEVs and heat pumps are just huge greenwashing ploys for the most part. Which may be why their promoters are openly hostile to all other green ideas.
