Anyone currently involved in federal immigration enforcement, every officer, every bureaucrat, every lawyer, every judge, is a member of the most evil group of people this country has seen since Reconstruction. Darkness personified, every one. Doing this to children is beyond depraved.

I'd like at add a few things to this. (1) humanists have not been able to convince any political party that curiosity-driven humanities research is a public good that should be funded using tax dollars. Republicans don't believe this, but neither do Democrats.

One way to understand this is: the rage normal Americans feel now watching actual secret police and political weaponization of the gov't is the same rage conservative media has falsely stoked for years against any Dem. They've stewed in the fake soup for so long.

I think there's an American Christian fight right now for who gets to speak to the soul and essence of Christianity. Frankly, for far too long media have pretended "religious"= conservative.
