Only reasonable explanation.
It's not that hard folks. Putin ordered Trump to destroy the U.S. from the inside. And that is precisely what he is doing.

The financial industry is a major road block for climate change mitigation. Our research shows the beneficiaries of sticking with fossil capital: the super rich.

Great to see our chart republished by the Balanced Economy Project!

Very interesting new @balancedeconomy.bsky.social report setting out the links between concentration of ownership in the financial sector and climate damage.

Here's one killer graph: over half of fossil fuel profits to the top 1% in the US.

Indeed.
So what happened to “we are locked and loaded and ready to go” and we “will come to their rescue?”

How many thousands died because they believed this post by Trump?

Denmark/Greenland will let us do anything we want militarily to protect our interests in Greenland with current and abandoned US military bases. We can move any assets we want there. So all the arguments about security are BS. Trump wants to OWN Greenland, not protect it.

Even former members of ICE are horrified by the killing of Renee Nicole Good. “They murdered her, plain and simple. That is all there is to it."

“You’ve got these officers that are pouring out of vehicles, pointing guns at US citizens—people who’ve done absolutely nothing wrong—and causing chaos.”
Former members of ICE say recent violence is "by design"
"What has changed is there has been an encouragement from the top to be much more aggressive in enforcement."

In polls, 28% of Americans say they support ICE killing Renee Good. Even if we assume another 5% like it but lied, that's still just 1/3 of Americans.

The regime tries to make up for its lack of support with bluster, lying in an effort to get others to give up. No one should help them with that.
When you say that “most Americans support the murder of Renee Good (or most other awful MAGA actions,” you are doing Trump’s propaganda work for him.

Polling makes it very clear that most Americans do NOT support this shit.

When the criminal stupidity collapses under it's own weight, make sure US follows, not East Germany nor Southern Confederacy example, but West Germany example of thorough de-Nazification.
ICE and CBP agents are responsible for the statutory offenses they're committing.

But *just one monster* established the 3,000 arrests/day quota that couldn't possibly be met without turning America into a fascist state.

This is that man. When the tables turn, he'll need to be imprisoned for life.

Canadian here. Been to Minneapolis for a few days around 2015 @DharmaFieldZenCenter. Felt like home to me. Today feels like the spirit I would expect to see if my own home town was *attacked*. 🙏
What ICE/BP is doing to Minneapolis is awful.

And it's taking everything they have. By population, Minneapolis is America's 45th largest city.

Keep both in mind at once: the regime's desire for authoritarian domination is bottomless, and they'll act on it, but their capacity to do so is limited.

Oh but surely we don't want those likely to be next victims to become "infuriated"!
The officer is, in fact, a murderer.

And saying that is not dangerous. The proper response to a murder is arrest and trial.
Homan: "We gotta stop the hateful rhetoric. Saying this officer is a murderer is dangerous. It's just ridiculous. It's gonna infuriate people more which means there's gonna be more incidents like this."

"Knowledge without the capacity to act is irrelevant, and our species has always the same imperative: to consume what sustains us until it's gone. The truth is that this extinction isn't a problem we can solve; it's a process we set in motion simply by being what we are." But..but..but..what if...

I can't describe how bad Minneapolis feels right now. My neighbors are pulling kids out of school. The public schools are offering remote learning until 2/12. We are having conversations in our alleys about how to protect ourselves. It feels like a military occupation with a blockade.
The US Department of Agriculture suspends all federal funding to Minnesota, effective immediately.
