Putting on my suit and tie and going on America Erwache to describe a 234 year old basic requirement of the constitution for lawful searches and seizures as a “nonstarter.”
Rep. Mark Harris: "Some of these things are nonstarters. Having judicial warrants? To me, hat's a nonstarter. Being able to make off their mask, putting them at risk? That's a nonstarter. I would say anything that's going to hamstring the work of ICE, that's just not going to go anywhere."

I read this, and I almost regret it. What do you even do with the knowledge that Epstein wanted and was trying to engineer societal breakdown via far right populism bc he thought it would benefit his sex trafficking business?
I read thousands of pages of Epstein files this weekend trying to understand what he wanted out of his meeting with 4chan's Christopher Poole. Here's everything we know about Epstein's plans to dismantle the internet and, eventually, democracy.

There better not be one damn penny of taxpayer dollars spent on Erika Kirk’s show via DOD, nor should the US military be used to promote a partisan political event.

this is what really killed the place even before the nazis fully took over

the Venn diagram of “people willing to pay for Twitter so their replies are boosted” and “people capable of making funny comments” is just two completely separate circles side by side
twitter must be dead dead cause someone posted a rat coin purse that would have 2019 twitter losing its collective mind and most of the top comments are bots saying random words or people not nearly amped enough about the rat coin purse

After decades of dem leadership pissing and moaning and fundraising about how complex an issue it is and how difficult the process is etc

For too long the media has lost trust with the average American, we’ve prioritized the voices of elites at the expense of the working man. So please, once again, we must support this weird Epstein files freak I hired.
“.. Weiss insists she does not want to cut ties with Attia over his links to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and sees it as giving in to the mob.”

Christopher Nolan should have cast Helen of Troy the way the Greeks would have: by casting the most attractive young man in the company and giving him a really fuckable porcelain mask.

Having a WOMAN play Helen of Troy??? Talk about inaccurate. The Greeks would fucking riot.

AOC: Why haven’t so many people been prosecuted? Why are Pam Bondi and the DOJ continuing to hide the majority of the Epstein files, which they admit contain even more direct evidence of genuinely shocking crimes and abuse of women, minors, and increasingly men…

It’s so funny that this guy’s entire thing is “Oh are you triggered by what I have to say about marginalized people” but he loses it when someone more well-liked than he will ever be talks about an actual injustice

Um just so we name this, the president is abusing us collectively. He's an abuser, & he's abusing America, & beyond. We experience abuse from him, that's the dynamic.

the transition from “you cannot say this shit in public” to “saying this shit in public will get you a job in a presidential administration” has been rapid and extremely bad for society as a whole
I've always thought that there's this line where you have to go from being the psycopath in front of the screen saying whatever the fuck you want online into the real world and it being a good stepping stone for adulthood for men but it really appears like we've just stripped it away.
it’s difficult to overstate how much the next generation of Republicans is worse

we’re seeing a little of it bleed into the current admin with their social media interns but basically every young person actively engaged in Republican politics is a psychotic freak who should be exiled from society

So the next step from democrats is: “it is illegal to do this without approvals and in 2029 we will hold all companies that take part criminally liable and seize all their assets to pay for restoration.”

this is a very cool thing to do and also highlights one of the biggest keys to Zohran's appeal: he just thinks New York City is really neat

people who live somewhere want to vote for someone who likes it there and wants to make it better, not someone who wants to use it as a springboard
It’s your city, from the sidewalk to the skyline. The David Dinkins Municipal Building’s rooftop is open & free to everyone, starting this June.
