Today Dallas County declared Tommy Lee Walker innocent of a 1953 murder for which he was wrongfully executed 70 years ago. Arrested at 19, executed within 3 years. A life stolen. Justice much delayed. Awed by the Walker family's persistence. So proud of this @innocenceproject team.

When I was in high school a person asked my where I went to school and I told her and she was genuinely bewildered and asked "Didn't that use to be a very good school?"
this one also involves a bald man. my best friend of 20 years met this guy through me and was so hostile to him for NO reason god im dying just remembering it like she HATED this man. anyway he was missing two teeth and as we were parting ways for the night she said ‘try not to lose any more teeth’

this is what I want for automatic weapons. someday I want people to look back and just shake their heads in disbelief at the literal cities of adults and children that we allowed to be brutally murdered.
I lived thru the end of public smoking. Early in my career I presented to city councils who were smoking, in front of audiences who were smoking.
Smoking in restaurants, airplanes, hospitals…
All of that seems insane now, but it was very controversial when we DID change it.
