We did it! Last night we had 18 (EIGHTEEN) people celebrating in our little home, and today we had just a couple of friends to close out the holiday. And a raptor.

Sent my kid to overnight camp for Shabbat and she did an entire night hike before realizing I'd packed her winter boots, gloves, and a hat. We live in Ohio.

I have ruined many a Passover this way.
It’s really fun to be a historian. We are fun at parties. We will absolutely not ruin your traditions by explaining the history of them.
Them: You know the Olympic torch relay just began.

Me: Yeah, the flame is ancient but the relay itself was invented by Hitler to connect Ancient Greece to Germany for the Berlin Olympics
