Greenlandic Politician Tillie Martinussen:
We do not want to be rich like Americans. Look how greedy they are, even trying to invade their friends.
Even if there are minerals and oil under our land-and they are worth far more-we still would not sell ourselves.

Not exactly blowing anybody’s mind here but these are the kind of videos they used to use to justify invading other countries
This is what happened in our neighborhood yesterday. ICE snatched a human being off of our streets, roughed them up badly, and then pepper sprayed legal observers as they documented it all. This is a daily occurrence happening all throughout Minnesota right now.

I have a birthday week booked in March but I absolutely agree with this
This is 100% correct and the EU should do it immediately.

The USA will break if a bunch of entitled Americans suddenly can’t book get-aways in Paris.

If they come for us, Philadelphia can only hope to emulate Minneapolis’s (and Chicago’s and Los Angeles’s and other cities’) courage and example at an appropriate scale and volume bsky.app/profile/norm...
Not to sound like kind of an angry person at the moment, but all of the Philly folks being like we would do this differently. What exactly are we Minnesotans supposed to be doing differently? People are putting their bodies on the line against the full force of the federal government.

lots of good theories going around about the weird whole milk advertising going on right now, but my personal one is the milk industrial complex is worried and mad about the growth of milk alternatives like soy or oat milk and want to reclaim previous cultural dominance

Many Americans are terrible neighbors to each other, and that is why MN is striking everyone as extraordinary activism... when they are telling us that it is not. They're good neighbors!

It's no wonder that "being a shitty neighbor" is the hallmark of our domestic politics and our foreign policy.

MINNEAPOLIS (RNS) — ‘There’s no option for me,’ said the Rev. Ashley Horan during a neighborhood patrol. ‘It is my responsibility to care for my neighbors in this way.’

Hello, this is proof of life that I am not just a reskeet account here : today’s grand victories were a) laundry b) shoveling our duplex’s sidewalk c) demolishing and reorganizing the probably five year old pile of crap on top of my dresser.

Although the people of Minnesota are indeed as accustomed to this weather as anybody in the country, I will still say: They’re judicious about spending time outside in it, and they wouldn’t be out there if they didn’t really, really mean it.
