the problem is, it's like this for freelancers too. The number of fucking payment portals with names like BLARGLE and FLORP that I have to sign up for just to get some pittance of a payout is ... not insubstantial.
When my rent is due, I sometimes long for the days of a day job and a regular paycheck. But then I remember this stuff and go back to looking for loose change in the sofa.
