We're actually in a Chagford coffeeshop across the bookstore - gotta stoke up first! It was a wonderful & unexpected meeting. The cherry on the sundae was Sarah McIntyre & I also discovering that we'd both gone to the same highly quirky women's college!
There was a chance meeting between authors I happen to publish & they connected over knowing me. 🤣 My very own crossover episode. I found that delightful & funny!

I propose a national holiday where all government authorities have to line up so we can throw sandwiches at them. Like a secular medieval carnival. Would keep out the worst narcissists.
Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, your decision today hinges on a very simple question that goes right to the soul of what America is all about: should a man be allowed, out of the goodness of his heart, to give a delicious sandwich to a member of our law enforcement community?
