Operation Metro Surge is not making Minnesota safer. Today's announcement is a step in the right direction, but we need a faster and larger drawdown of forces, state-led investigations into the killings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, and an end to this campaign of retribution.
With the immediate removal of 700 federal agents from Minnesota, border czar Tom Homan put the total number of agents remaining in the state at approximately 2,000.

That’s still a dramatic increase from the normal immigration and enforcement staffing in Minnesota of around 150 agents.

Remember the incident where DHS claimed officers shot a guy because he attacked them with a snow shovel?

Yeah. It didn't happen. They shot him through the door of his own home. And then arrested him. And then lied about it. Again.

And they almost shot some kids in the process.
They just blindly shot through the fucking door.

In the age of Grok making on demand child porn I need companies serving kids to change their photo waivers. It was always ridiculous to add into a safety and liability waiver and now it’s nonsensical and incredibly unsafe.

We need an eviction moritorium now. Today the judge in the lawsuit against DHS did not issue a preliminary injunction to halt Operation Metro Surge. While we are not done with litigation, this is deeply troubling for our community that will continue to suffer.

Minnesota needs an eviction moratorium and small business relief yesterday. Everyone normal person I know is giving more than they can afford, cutting their work time to volunteer etc. but we can't do it all. Institutional philanthropy and state gov't are failing big time on this.

The only reason Homan replaced Bovino as the face of the occupation is because his lies are more polished and he doesn’t dress like a member of the Third Reich in public. But the policies and the state instigated violence remain unchanged.
CNN: How did we get to a place where we had Bovino having Border Patrol agents stopping citizens in interior of the country, asking them ID, creating fear? Who made the decisions to allow this kind of operation to proceed?

HOMAN: The reason for the massive deployment is bc of the threats & violence
