You might be here for my romance novels, my leftist prepping, my gender nihilism, my Christian anarchism, my superhero fixation, or some combo thereof. My books are at http://www.eliwray.com/.
Head of the Class changed my gifted/undiagnosed life. Rewatched some recently and it was awfully sweet and good for kids.

It's a shame if it did anything to position that Nickelodeon fuckface to abuse children.

You don't ruin good things, by the way. Just in case you have Trauma Brain f*cking w/ you today to the tune of "you ruin everything you touch." It does that-- & it doesn't actually care if you ruin things.

It's just trying to get you to feel like garbage. It does that.

Our battles are not the same. But they are all connected.

A small, cruel minority wants their comfort and greed more than literally anything else in the universe. They will trample humanity to get it.

We fight until we win.

One of my great privileges of 2025 was writing this essay for the outstanding publication ScarleTeen. So honored they'd highlight it!
@lisalamanfilmfan.bsky.social says it loud and clear in her latest: the humanity of autistic people is not up for debate, no matter the lies institutions of power spread. Autistic readers, let this piece be a reminder of all you offer to this world by existing.

That voice in your head telling you you need to be "perfect" to "deserve" love or safety isn't especially interested in you being loved or safe-- it's just trying to discourage you. You are as worthy of love & safety on your worst day as you are on your best.

Really.

The truth is, neither the powerful nor the oppressed have ever had good cause to obey laws—the former because the same privileges that enable them to write the laws release them from the necessity of obeying them, the latter because the laws weren’t established for their benefit in the first place.
Take Your Pick: Law or Freedom
Cheerleading for "the rule of law" hamstrings movements for change, giving Trump and others like him precisely the tools they need to suppress dissent.

As anarchists, we reject the idea that judges or politicians should be trusted to determine who belongs in our communities.

This is not a question of how to interpret the Constitution or appoint better judges, but of how to defend each other from the violence of the state.

It is an absolutely delightful irony that the richest man in the world is universally acknowledged to be a huge fucking loser who not a single living person envies in any way at all
Remember folks: if you have any small amount of artistic talent, any sex appeal, or can make your friends laugh, the richest man on earth is crying screaming throwing up because he can’t be you.

Seeing folks help backstop organizing workers this way is a big one for the “I do not regret to tell you that we are going to win” files.

When I think about conditions we’d need to make smthg like a general strike possible—stories like this make me hopeful we’re building in the right direction.
Since this post, nearly 300 of you donated about $11k and I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. The union shared photos with me today of food being distributed. Remaining money will be evenly distributed among the 160 union members in the form of gift cards. Thank you. ❤️

Greendale Community College is represented by two separate, yet equally important types of people: the goofballs that run around stirring up trouble, and the eggheads that make a big deal about it. These are their stories.

this also helps solidify a class divide in disability rights. Often, "proving" you are disabled requires a clinical report - and those are often very expensive. In many countries (even some with public health) they are not covered for adults...which means you effectively have to buy accommodations.

Do you have your transcripts? Do you have any conceivable reason to have them on hand? Might be worth starting the process now, just saying.
