I mean do you love ur kid or do u love ur kid’s gender. All these stupid reveal parties have done is encourage parents to fall in love with some sort of gender fantasy rather than the child and that has done nothing but bad things for the world.
You might think from the headline that this is a story about a trans kid suffering medical consequences from a large drug dose but nope! It is just an interview with an estranged father who is angry that his child happily transitioned.

the reactionaries get it because they ultimately defined it, but liberals have deluded themselves into thinking being straight means purely that you're attracted to the opposite sex. they cannot conceive of the systems they are trapped in, to them it is immutable universal law like gravity.

I sort of wish y'all took this more seriously, because this attitude is a reinforcement of heterosexuality as a hierarchy. It's an acknowledgement and understanding that it's not enough to "be with" a woman, or even to father children.
