We need cross-party commitment and ideally legislation to lock in scope and budgets. Never again should a PM cancel a major project at a party conference with zero scrutiny.

A Basij base in Rasht, part of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has reportedly been overrun by protesters. With the nationwide communication blackout ongoing, verified details remain limited. Reports do indicate there is lots of shooting and gunfire exchanges in Tehran.

I'd like to see Democrats announce unanimously and promptly that "should Trump ever annex any fraction of Greenland, the next Democratic administration will cede Greenland back to Denmark immediately and pay compensation via Trump's personal wealth and the wealth of his companies."

In 2003 I watched US troops roll in to the oil rich Iraqi city of Kirkuk and roll straight out the other side to take up defensive positions around the oil refinery.

I still don’t understand why #thetraitors don’t do more of: ‘in this competition the gold bars have red and blue dots on them; the difference between the more red than blue collected = bonus prize money for the traitors’ - ie make the tasks have a traitor twist within them

During Fiona Hill's testimony to Congress on Oct 14, 2019, she described how Trump and Putin discussed exchanging Ukraine for Venezuela. The quid pro quo was if Trump refuses to help Ukraine fight off a Russian invasion, Putin would not help Venezuela (a Russian ally) resist a US takeover.

Not the main point of this but it isn’t “as many as 33% believe civil war WOULD happen”, if you follow the link it’s 9% very likely and 23% think it somewhat likely, which is 32% and I would say only the 9% are saying *will*
