I don't think the DOJ will release anything.

This is the beginning of the end for Trump.

He's a rabid walking colostomy bag who has been backed into a corner.

Shit is gonna fly.

No Administration has done more to shatter the idea of American exceptionalism than this one.

By attempting to sell out Ukraine for a bunch of minerals deals, Trump would have America join the ranks of mediocrity.

An enterprising reporter should ask Donald Trump this question,

"Sir why are you building a giant ballroom you will not live to see completed and one that the next Democratic president will surely tear down. Why bother?"
The ballroom Mr. Trump is planning now is more than four times as large as the 20,000-square-foot one at Mar-a-Lago.

The death of browsing is part of the reason art is the way it is now. Our opinions are largely fed to us by algorithms. Spending a spare 15 minutes wandering around a bookstore or comic shop or video rental place was how you found stuff you wouldn't ordinarily pick up and thereby expanded your taste
Bookselling is like the most "people go to the store and buy what looks cool to them without a particular agenda" type business left, and your purchases have a huge influence on what is ordered, what is displayed, and what is recommended.

1. Wow, this is going to be a challenge for Grant.

You see, Grant is a militant Scientologist— arguably the third most powerful Scientologist with Tom Cruise being the second.

And in Scientology, being gay is one of the worst things you can be, second only to being a psychiatrist.

This pathetic Republican doesn't have the courage to defend the US Constitution, so instead he does what all cowards do, he quits.

Good riddance.

The next steps will eventually bring us to using force, and this is a step most people refuse to contemplate. But force does not necessarily mean violence, and with a bit of luck we will never reach that point.

We must accept the obvious and move on to the next step. A lot of people won’t move on because the next step is uncharted territory and will not have an easy solution. We must be prepared for failure, perhaps multiple failures. But you don’t lose until you quit. We must not quit trying.

If we must beg our representatives to uphold the Constitution, we must infer that they will not listen to us. If they were going to do it, they would already have started doing it, no matter how futile the effort might be, because they swore an oath.
It’s not “likely;” they are openly admitting to breaking the law. Worthless political speech like this is so frustrating and in direct contradiction to the correct dire warnings they keep issuing about democracy. Do something, man! Call on the House to impeach!

If you want to know why Hegseth is panicking about reminders that there is accountably for giving or carrying out illegal orders, it’s likely because he knows he has given illegal orders to murder people.

You're not seeing the defense and international conflict experts disagreeing because if the facts are true, it's one of the most basic things in the law of armed conflict: You cannot kill people who are "hors de combat," taken out of the game by injury or attack. This is Geneva 101 stuff.
I follower a few defense experts.

Seeing them all straight-up declare this a war crime without any him-and-hawing is uhm

Disconcerting.

Pete Hegseth must resign, as does Stephen Miller. Donald Trump should be subpoenaed before Congress to answer for HIS policy.

The entire purpose of these boat attacks is to provide Donald Trump with some war porn so he can get off.

Pete hegseth committed war crimes and every Democrat in the house and the Senate needs to immediately call for his resignation.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

Why do you need Seal Team 6 to blow up a fucking boat?
This would be an unambiguous war crime even in a proper war against a real enemy’s navy.
Textbook war crime/extrajudicial killing

"Two survivors were clinging to the smoldering wreck. The Special Operations commander overseeing the Sept. 2 attack ... ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions."

I have escaped from domestic violence. The domestic violence was not just contained to the home, but also involved weaponization of systems. I hope to do a fuller accounting of what happened one day to bring light to this problem. For now, here is my "Thank You" note to Joe Biden & the VAWA.

This is a war crime.

Donald Trump ordered, and Pete Hegseth carried out, war crimes.
6/ 🚨 Per CURRENT and former US officials, there are strong reasons to believe some people on board the Sept 2 boat were people being trafficked.

(That is consistent with prior NYT reporting)
