My absolute favorite was a keynote speaker who not only used AI-generated images in his slides, but also accidentally showed us his AI search history which included “dietary principles for visible abs”.
I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

Am I nuts, or does this say we'll put all of our scientific papers into a big data warehouse, let a bunch of people working on"AI" train some new LLMs, and then magic will happen.
