So every religious school that vilifies LGBTQI+ people gets their funding completely cut off right? Right?

Tech is in an interesting place where some of the most accomplished engineers in the industry now say their job is now just telling AI to write all the code, debug it and fix the bugs.

Some of this is marketing hype from people who are selling AI tools (Boris works on Claude Code) but it rings true

Another winter break coding side quest...

I created a CLI tool called "burrow" for managing local secrets, inspired by `dotnet user-secrets`. But, it’s a standalone executable and it uses SQLite instead of JSON as the backing store.

Check it out at safia.rocks/burrow/ 🐰

There are people for, and against, GLP-1s who refer to the treatments as “just” getting injections to “lose weight”, and I think it important to remember how incomplete this is. There are behavioral and dietary changes that result from injections, there’s no “just” here.

Santa and the reindeer got stopped at the border and their social media from the last 5 years was inspected.
They've been turned back
Santa had followed too many accounts from people in countries that the President had designated as 'shitholes'

Facebook made an algorithm that gave Boomers whatever they wanted, and they destroyed democracy, and then all those FB product managers went over to OpenAI and made ChatGPT, and now they've made a chatbot that tells Boomers whatever they want to hear, and... well, this should go great.
If we are banning cell phones for kids we need to be talking about banning chatbots for boomers
