Have you seen the video footage from the front? If it's real, he puts his feet back so his legs don't get hit,and leans into getting hit by car in the chest. He does get bumped.. He could've avoided it completely but didn't. It looked like premeditated murder.
He walked away after trotting down to make sure his victim was dead. Never hit and certainly not upper torso. Possible he got a hip bruise as he came around the car to shoot through her side window 2 more times.

Having seen several abductions up close, it is really hard to convey how much the thing they’re doing is roaming in military convoys until they see someone who is alone and isn’t white, and then jumping out in large numbers, pulling them into a van, and screeching off, all in 90 seconds or so.
