Nigel Farage has gone "on strike" from PMQs, saying he won't return until he next gets a question

There's just one problem: Reform UK knows the rota for qus for the rest of the year.

His next question is on Nov 12

Il bet you any money you want that not only will Starmer be labour leader in the new year, he will lead the party into the next GE

Every media and Tory attack on Starmer and Labour is made up, lies and deliberate falsehood.

Here's another.

@bbcnewsnight.bsky.social Will the media sensationalise for days over this?

Not on yer nellie.

Agree with that. There’s always that danger. In the last GE there were a few websites who did a good job at identifying who to vote for tactically to ensure the Tory lost.🤞there will be the same to keep reform out next GE. The fact that so many voted tactically here to do that is encouraging for me

Renters’ Rights Bill
1. Abolishes “no-fault” evictions
2. Replaces fixed-term tenancies
3. Limits rent increases to once per year
4. Introduces a Decent Homes Standard
5. Bans discrimination against tenants with children or on benefits.
6. Gives tenants a legal right to have pets,

Labour👍

I’m the opposite. I now have much more confidence that we can keep out reform than I was before yesterday’s vote. The progressive vote share was around 60%+

And in so doing re-enforces the sense in which the current bout of flag-flying isn't a symbol of shared belonging but a political, and, here, an explicitly party political, statement.
🙄 Reform UK will spend £75,000 putting up 150 Union flags across Nottinghamshire in a bid to "strengthen community spirit"
Thanks Jenny. I’ve gotta be honest I was dreading the result when I went to bed. Was delighted by the scale of the loss for reform cos they literally threw everything they had at this election ☺️
Caerphilly resident here. You haven’t got a clue.
The newsagents are absolutely bobbins. They go with the crowd nearly always. Such a disappointment

Wooooah!

So the China spy case witness statement initially described China as the 'enemy'.

But that word was removed before submition, because it was NOT government policy at the time.

The government when this happened were the Tories.

So arguably the Tories are the reason the case collapsed!

Kemi Badenoch’s ability to plant political time bombs that blow up in the face of the party she leads is truly unparalleled.

What’s particularly impressive here is she could have found this out herself before raising the profile of this issue at PMQs.

@johnsweeneyroar.bsky.social visits the Welsh valleys on the trail of a Russian spy, his wife, a Reform politician taking bribes, party leader Nigel Farage and a vanishing by-election candidate.

As a Caerphilly resident I can confirm. Once everyone got a good grip as to who was in the best position to beat reform, we voted accordingly. I’m a labour supporter btw, and I’m actually buzzing that the fash got sent packing

Farage is 32-61 across Britain (12% VERY favourable and 50% VERY unfavourable), and 32-65 with the Wales sample in this poll (with 59% very unfavourable).

The idea that this Caerphilly result mainly product of existence of a nationalist party in Wales & Scotland not England makes v little sense

The pattern that a third of voters like Reform (a sixth strongly) and 6/10 don't like Reform is shared across Wales and England. It simply is not the case that having a 1/3 approval and majority disapproval reputation is only a problem in Wales - because a party with v different voice/voters won
