Last nite, I saw a great post, from a 46K account, re the 1936 "Popular Olympics" in Barcelona on the eve of the right-wing coup attempt that kicked off the Spanish Civil War: a gripping story. Well, it was plagiarized *almost verbatim* from a 2021 NatGeo article. Then, the *real* author shows up...

We rightly have inquiries into the systematic abuse of girls in the UK by Asian grooming gangs. There ought to be a inquiry into the actions of Andrew and anyone else in the UK involved with Epstein. This requires full transparency from both the Crown and all Royal Protection officers.

And it was to this planet that unattended biros would make their way, slipping away quietly through wormholes in space to a world where they knew they could enjoy a uniquely biroid lifestyle, responding to highly biro-orientated stimuli, and generally leading the biro equivalent of the good life.

What is Peter Mandelson discussing with Jeffrey Epstein in this email?

The "G" is clearly Gordon Brown. The "Brown" isn't, at least I think it isn't.

1. The thing about science that these jokers don't understand is that science cannot be vibe-coded.

Whatever its flaws, the point with vibe coding is that you're trying to quickly make something that sorta works, where you can immediately sorta see if it sorta works and then sorta use it.
“The idea is to put ChatGPT front and center inside software that scientists use to write up their work in much the same way that chatbots are now embedded into popular programming editors.

It’s vibe coding, but for science.”
OpenAI’s latest product lets you vibe code science
Prism is a ChatGPT-powered text editor that automates much of the work involved in writing scientific papers.

Menopause. The gift that keeps on giving.
The menopause is linked to changes in the brain similar to those seen in Alzheimer's, according to a new study.

The findings, showing loss of grey matter, come from ~125,000 women, of whom 11,000 had MRI brain scans.

I think @sarahjeong.bsky.social said it's because they devalue women's labor and a LOT of this Scary Logistics stuff comes from people who don't understand that basically all of the civic life they enjoy is created with the help of free labor, largely by women.
Tho I will say, in his defense, he's not the first person to be confused by how quickly the romance authors & readers can whip up finely tuned logistics out of nothing. 😂
I mostly just stay off Twitter altogether but after double checking that the Walter Hudson post was still up I ran across this and just had to share so the Romancelandians who bought hand warmers could hear about the PROFESSIONAL GRADE LOGISTICS.
