I really need women's flag football to take off so I can watch that instead. Honestly, if football switched to flag, after a generation no one would notice. And watching old game footage would shock the conscious.
the Monday Night Football sideline reporter just casually described a player getting concussed to the point of vomiting and then returning to the field

Based on my Skyline, the Pritzker Star Wars movie ranking did not heal the bitter divide in America.

This is not my ranking, but it's a respectable ranking. Nothing is outright wrong, even if there are generational biases. Good on Pritzker.
haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”

Decided last week that my lightsaber projects require some custom blade plugs when I get there, so I went a little crazy on Etsy getting some possibilities.

Seriously, the movie Nuremberg could not ask for better earned media.

This implies that it's somehow AGAINST the Uniform Code of Military Justice to instruct other members of the military of their obligation to ignore or disobey illegal orders? When did they make THAT change?*

*I know they did in spirit, but I mean on paper for real.
Hegseth is now threatening to recall Sen. Mark Kelly to active duty in order to court martial him.

Lookin' through the paper, though he doesn't know to read, ooh, yeah
Oh, prayin'
Now to something that has never showed him anything
Oh, feelin'
Understands the weather of the winter's on its way
Oh, ceilings
Few and far between all the legal halls of shame, hey🎶

Jesus, Sam. Try to contain your Jim Crow boner (Crowner?).
#BREAKING: Just hours after Texas asked #SCOTUS to pause Tuesday’s ruling that had blocked its new House congressional district maps, Justice Alito has issued a temporary “administrative” stay pausing that ruling (and putting the new maps back into place) while the full Court considers next steps:

Do we thing the House would ever pass a resolution declaiming Anarcho-capitalism? What about Christian Nationalism? What about Illiberal Democracy?
November 21, 2025 at 9:16 PM
I'll believe this when the resolution forces Trump to sell the US's stakes in several companies.
BREAKING: The House of Representatives voted 285–98 in favor of a resolution condemning socialism.

Eighty-six Democrats joined Republicans in supporting the measure, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

We know Trump doesn't believe this in all cases. Sometimes he commutes the sentences of people who were literally convicted of seditious conspiracy. I wonder what the difference is here...
Trump posts again about Democrats, saying their behavior is “punishable by DEATH!”

Plus, it would mean that one of the Muppets is murdered and all the rest of them, save one, are assholes who are also bad enough to be viable suspects of Muppet murder.

So excited for @criticalrole.bsky.social's The Mighty Nein tonight. As someone who grew up in Golden age of adventure cartoons because they were subsidized by toy sales, I'll take any non-anime animated action adventure show with the old style character art, before the current CalArts style.

The team had done such amazing things for this update. The new Dantooine area looks amazing. And there are some of our best droid pets yet. For my part, I can't wait for you to see Galactic Threads. I'll spend all day watching streamers play it.

Holy moly. That is some high-grade pure uncut crazy from this 5th Circuit judge. His family sincerely needs to do a wellness check on this dude. He might live in a house with newspaper and yarn all over the walls.

Old genre franchise continuations are hit or miss lately. Alien and Predator are doing well. Blade Runner was good but nobody cared (like the original). But Tron and Willow didn't hit at all (also I'm keeping with the source material). Probably doesn't bode well for someone doing more Krull.

NEW: Gregory Bovino is exactly who E.B. White — author of 'Charlotte's Web' — warned us about.

DHS named its North Carolina anti-immigrant effort "Operation Charlotte's Web." In 1940, White wrote of the "smell" that "rises" from those who "adjust to fascism" over freedom.

Today I'm finally getting back to the saber project. Got the switch assembly finished after several failed attempts at brazing and restoring to the same epoxy I used for the USB port in the lion's mouth. And now I'm working out how to do the shroud. Do I bend it first? Or attach the bits first.
