I made a joke about Canada not having superheroes on Threads and it's been two solid days of Canadians yelling at me.
Also, it turns out that the Canadians yelling at me about comics don't actually seem to know anything about comics.
I went away for a day and they're still going.

It is okay for comics to be comics, and not a test bed for movies and/or television shows.
Not every comic has to be adapted into another media. There's nothing inherently wrong with comics as a medium. It is good for creators to get a Hollywood check, but they don't make comics better.
