There it is. Our national broadcaster living in fear of the most openly corrupt US president in American history. This is where the British patriots on the right have got us.
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

And this is why social media comps don't like transparency 😉

I know from my easons years that it sells, the Saturday edition in particular, despite the rabid Toryism. Like the Playboy argument from many years ago, I've heard the 'I buy it for the arts/ books/ geopolitics'' argument, despite it being a frequently nasty paper.

New attraction? Come tour the drug ship. Get a ticket with your role on it - drug kingpin, or minion? At the end of the tour you find out if you're being repatriated or going to prison for 30 years. If you get the prison option, there's a 10% discount on the Cork Gaol tour.

That was a fascinating chat with Gregory Maguire (author of Wicked) just now on Oliver Callan, didn't catch all of it but wow, yet again it's a writer of fairly dystopian fantasy fiction who sees best how things are going politically in the US

Interesting how determined our politicians are to ape the policies of parties who are nosediving in polls.

Even idiot kids know you're supposed to copy the popular kid in school, not the one everybody hates
