I was asked the same thing almost verbatim after being arrested at a protest in 2020. Not by ICE, but by the regular, everyday local PD that dems love so much
incandescent rage. people not subject to criminalization in this country don’t understand that this. is. policing. and this type of sexual violence is completely inseparable from it.

Losers enjoy geometric inventory management systems out of a misguided desire for realism

I enjoy them because lining up all my gear in an efficient and aesthetically pleasing way makes my brain release the Good Chemicals

We are not the same
Freaks enjoying organizing Leon's steamer trunk of assorted weaponry because "it's realistic that not everything would fit" but the trunk existing outside of time and space isnt an issue

If he wants to declare martial law, he will. It won't be based on reality. I don't know why some people continue to say: "be peaceful or he'll invoke martial law." Are you all living in this country in 2026???? Haven't you seen them make things up out of whole cloth???? Are you 10 years old?

A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. And like Renée Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter.

I need y’all to realize this. Black people experience this lack of visibility all the time when it comes to being victims.

Corollary: the reason the vast majority of elected Democrats are not taking a strong stand against murder is that ICE are cops and Dems love cops
the reason ICE is bad is that they are cops and cops are all bastards

Look. I understand this feeling, believe me. Things look fucking grim right now.

And yet. People all across the country are showing up in a hundred different ways. Risking everything to protect their neighbors.
This year is going to be like the final boss for optimists

This is literally what they do whenever a Black person is killed by police. No matter how solid the evidence is, they will keep pushing that lie, not just to poison the conversation and make sure the killer walks free, but to reassert the political idea that these people deserve to be killed.
The shooting is shocking enough but the government's response is off the charts when you consider that this incident is forensically documented on video.

It's not that ICE isn't about immigration; it's that immigration enforcement is about policing, which is violent and oppressive and hates protesters.

Evergreen:

The first thing cops say after an incident is always a lie.
Black folk will tell you: The 1st thing cops say after an incident is always a lie.🤷🏿‍♂️

They lie because there's upside in it for them, and no downside.

No matter how many times they get caught lying, newspapers will print their next lie as the gospel truth.🤡

And people stop caring before truth hits
ICE lied about the person it shot, claiming he was a "criminal," but NBC finds that he had no criminal history whatsoever. Not even traffic tickets in 12 years! It also lied about the extent of the injuries to its agents....

Absolutely hilarious earnings call for Broadcom today as CEO Hock Tan gets mad at an analyst for asking for clarity over OpenAI’s supposed 10 gigawatt chips deal, which Tan responded to by saying that “they are on their multi-year journey to their own XP and let's leave it at that.”

We're going to have to kill and eat the Grinch to gain his anti-christmassy powers. The effect will be temporary, but it should allow us to perceive reality as it truly is, without the illusory effect of Christmas joy. If my calculations are correct, Santa buried his phylactery there,
