This is what happened to me. Employers across the board need to be aware of how harassment campaigns work and do better to protect their employees from them. These people should not have a platform to profit off of harassment.

Haha, yep. One might even make the case that allowing a handful of billionaires to dictate the market by brute forcing the appeal of a largely unproven and inefficient technology is also a bad thing.
The fact that there is confusion/disagreement over the accounting all of these massive deals are based on seems like a major red flag.

But also what happens to all of these mass capital expenditures if it LLMs hit a ceiling and just end up being search 2.0?

The AI Industry Is Built on a Big Unproven Assumption
In addition to the projections about reaching artificial general intelligence and replacing millions of human workers, there’s the mundane matter of how long AI chips will last.

EXCLUSIVE: So far it's been unclear what proof Rockstar Games has to justify its firing of 34 union members, who it claims were leaking "confidential information in a public forum".

PMG has now seen some of the messages which contributed to this decision being made.

1) good, they should be prosecuted, they are responsible for countless deaths

2) always very funny when these people realize the extent to which their billionaire patrons could not possibly give less of a shit about them

Saw the trailer for this the other night and it looks so sick.
Kingdoms of the Dump is one of the year's most charming RPGs, an Earthbound-inspired game set in a world made of trash, where you fight in landfills and heal with moldy sandwiches. Which is fitting — it was made by two janitors.

There's a lot to say about the Roblox CEO interview, and the right place to start is definitely his answers on children's safety, because that's kind of the fire that is hottest and closest.

However, I have to also say, the polymarket stuff is real 'summation of our neoliberal dumpster fire' shit.

🚨 MORSELS REVIEW 🚨

Would love to get some eyes on this! I know it’s an uphill battle posting about a game with a small footprint post-launch, but I think it’s worth making space for reviews like this.

I don’t think there was ever a time in which I understood what this game was supposed to be. Regardless, it should have got a chance and failing that it’s developers certainly shouldn’t have been punished for decisions made from the top down. They should have had a chance to make something else.

Easily $600+ for the cheaper one then. Might just wait for the next generation of this if it's going to get more expensive. Can't go too high for broad appeal though. Unless the performance unlocked by the custom hardware+OS is something really special I can't see paying $800+ for 8GB of VRAM

Came across a photo from earlier this year when I hosted a pixel art workshop at Yorkshire Games Festival. It had to be low-tech so I got folk to design characters based on a Fungal Knight concept on quarters of post it notes to keep their designs simple, pass them around and then I pixelled them!

Red Bull. On a referral I got through two phone interviews. Met the VP of the department on the second in person interview. He walked me out and offered me a Red Bull. I turned it down. Never got a rejection letter or heard back until a completely new staff years later interviewed me again…

-100's of games launch on Steam every week
-There aren't enough writers to cover them
-Pubs/devs don't always respond to emails from excited writers
-Editors can't always afford to pay for reviews/features

Please don't rush to blame writers/sites when something niche isn't covered. We're trying.

I like how full text search of every book and human thought ever was a SOLVED PROBLEM in 2001, and now dicks at search engines and my own phone – a piece of silicon faster to respond than God was ever imagined in scripture – prevent it from working, _as a retroactive infantilizing design choice_.
