I don't think Corporate leadership in America fully appreciates how unpopular AI and it's pursuit of art production (video, pictures, music) is detested by consumers. The full stock investment into gen AI for the purpose of creating art is a going to get incredible pushback. It already has.

There’s a lot of Bond music that slaps. Pretty underrated genre.
Duran Duran didn't have to write a bond theme that went that hard.

but they did.

@ajhaefele.bsky.social did you unload the collection?

It’s officially Denver’s first snow of the season!

A whopping 0.2” at DIA = we’re on the board. First measurable snow since April 18 (225 days).

❄️ 2nd-latest first snow of the season (12/10/21).

❄️ 225 snowless days = T-3rd-longest snowless on record for Denver.

It's ALWAYS someone that has enough money security to have never cleaned a toilet, to never need to mow the lawn or hit up a grocery store on the weekends. They inevitably equate their working time with 1st class travel, remote meetings or other low effort, relaxing non-working time they call work.

I feel like it should be the supplemental discipline equivalent of a high stick. You may have not had intent, but you are responsible for your stick/skating there. The other factor is he got 5 and 10 but only missed 30 seconds of that game when he was kicked out.
The Athletic is reporting that there will be no further discipline by the NHL. Truly a missed opp for DoPS to hold players accountable. For the remainder of the season every dangerous play will be compared to this one and used as a reason for why there should not be supplemental discipline

Gavin Brindley says on SiriusXM NHL that he knew within two weeks after moving to Colorado and interacting with other Avalanche players that he wanted to be there, which made it easy to sign his new extension. Loves the team and the organization.

My view is that he’s reckless going that fast at that angle into the boards there. He’s got no margin for error. Just the optics for the league should be a one game suspension because he’s taking no responsibility for the safety for Ramanov. Like he didn’t pump the brakes at all. …
I root for anything that would lead to the downfall of the Dallas Stars, but that Rantanen hit on Romanov was not his fault at all. Scott Mayfield caused it.

John-Michael Liles, members of the Ice Patrol, and Bernie will be there.

They will also be donating 500 new Avalanche hats as well.

Doesn't get more ominous than this view of Hurricane Melissa. Category 5 storm as it begins its slow turn north towards Jamaica, where 20-30" of rain could fall along with 24+ hours of hurricane-force winds.

Thinking of those in Melissa's path.
