Toward the end, Friedman's argument begins to explain too much, making almost every issue facing the USA a matter of "a battle over what is home, and who is entitled to live in it." But his core claim is correct. Trump's strategy paper is white nationalism, period.

I think most people know how monstrous and horrible Trump's deportation policies are. For MAGA folks, the cruelty and overreach is a feature, not a bug.

Tragic situations. I am very much pro #GunControl, but you can easily empathize here with the innocent bystander victims AND the shooters, who seemingly acted in self defense and who all, seemingly, survived the situation, perhaps because they were armed.

I keep my sports takes on here to a minimum, but the reason the 10s Heat weren't as solid as dynasty as the 90s Bulls isn't a matter of talent. The Heat were *so* talented, such a star-driven steamroller, such a media event, that they burnt out (plus Wade's aging knees)
