Publishers like EA, Ubisoft, 2K, Take-Two etc make SO MUCH MONEY and the fact that they don't use that money to help bring new, original ideas to the market because of the chase for endless growth and profits is so sad man.
So many cool experiences they could make or fund and just don't.

We spend years working hard, burning out, all for it to one day vanish because some guy in a suit changed his mind. And for what? A billion-dollar company to get a tax write-off? The devs at Cliffhanger deserved better, and we as both players and developer's can't stand for this anymore.

It's legitimately great that Amir is being recognized for the good he's doing in the industry to help laid off gamedevs, but it's also like those "cute" stories about teachers working a second job to pay for school supplies. The root of the issue is still festering all over the industry.
