Caves of Qud was a game that felt hostile and tedious at first, so I dropped it. After 9 months I tried it again, and it's now one of a few games that I hold dear to my heart and will evangelize for anyone who will listen.

A second chance to make a first impression. Would love to know if anyone else has come around on a game years later. Admittedly, idt that’s happened for me. Games have grown on me but I haven’t revisited a game with success yet (tho I rarely revisit those that don’t click).
I wish more people were open to doing this. Sometimes ur just not in the right head space afor a game. I’ve revisited games id earlier gave up on and added all time favorites to my list. I mean sometimes ur right the first time, but it’s worth the risk. 😂
