I love new slang and internet lingo…when it’s good. “6, 7” is the worst thing that has been spawned and become a trend. There’s no joke, it’s not a meme, the video is so niche that most people haven’t seen it. there’s nothing clever or funny about it, it’s literally nothing. It makes me so mad lol

NIGHTMARE ALLEY (2021, Vision In Darkness and Light) is absolutely the definitive modern noir classic and no one is doing it like @realgdt.bsky.social. It’s captivating from beginning to end, gorgeous to look at, and the acting is sublime. A dark & haunting tale beautifully written & directed.

Amongst the many aspects that haven’t been great since moving back home; I’ve been watching a lot less movies. I actually feel like my brain’s chemistry is off, that it’s not functioning at full capacity lately. If movies were drugs, they’re definitely a stimulant. I feel groggy without them lol

Nobody has a problem calling Xenomorphs by their species name, I don’t see why it’s an issue here. Referring to an alien race as simply “predators” is silly lol
I really enjoyed the movie but I refuse to call them Yautja, just no, fuck you.
