the women's institute have long been proudly trans inclusive.

then @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social came along.

trans ppl were not causing a problem in society. we still aren't.

the ppl causing these problems are the 'gender critical' cult. they are completely out of control.

Rachel Reeves says on Laura Kuenssberg that she's asking working people to pay a little bit more.

This was all under the cover of a made up "black hole" whilst refusing to tax the super rich.

This Labour Government showing again exactly who they are and who they serve.

There are some truly unhinged bits in the piece about Glasman, as to be expected when dealing with Glasman, but seriously what the actual? That's...one hell of a conflation of terminology.

OOOOOOOOOO Labour is planning to FREEZE rail fares for the FIRST TIME IN THIRTY YEARS! Fantastic, now I can continue paying what I've paid all year for trains that are frequently delayed, cancelled and so packed I get a backpack in the face.

Labour expecting to be thanked for freezing rail fares (which were put up over double the rate of inflation this year, and nearly 20% since 2021), is in the same league as them expecting to be thanked for doubling the cost of taking the bus. 🤪🤡

A lot of the local beer and cider on tap at the festival could be in more pubs if it weren't for our outdated licensing system. Consider joining CAMRA and lending your voice to the campaign for a fairer deal for our local producers.

CAMRA NI Director Ruth Sloan went on Radio Ulster to chat about why the Minister for Communities was wrong to reject plans to modernise Northern Ireland's antiquated licensing laws, and why consumers deserve a better choice of beer, cider, pubs and taprooms.

#HeinekenUK announced today it's reducing the alcohol content of Foster's Lager 3.7% to 3.4% claiming this is to meet "demands for a more health-conscious lifestyle." No mention of the fortune it will save on duty! In Feb it also reduced the ABV of Sol to 3.4% while increasing Draught prices by 2.9%

The Spectator (owned by GBNews owner Paul Marshall - estimated wealth of £800 million) doesn’t like taxing wealth fairly.

I wonder how they got to this editorial decision?

Let’s tax wealth fairly, fund front line services & make hope normal again.

Had some excellent pints last night at the Woodman, Bull and Wellie. But it made me realise I've been putting up with average beer other places recently 😔
