It's really instructive when you replace "Millennials" with "middle-aged adults" in headlines.

#BHM Day 8: Diego Bemba 🧶

This colorway turns to a figure whose presence in the historical record is both rare & quietly powerful: Diego Bemba, a Kongolese aristocrat from Soyo (in what is now the DRC & Angola), painted in the mid-17th century.

It is exceptionally uncommon to know the

When you see unhoused people asking for money what you should see is a fracturing of the social contract where an issue (housing) that should be addressed on a municipal or statuary level is instead foisted on individuals in a way designed o put callouses on their souls
man I’m sorry to be all corny here but when I see a “the city is beautiful! There’s more to it than homeless people!” I gotta say you know who’s also beautiful? People who have no place to live & are trying to get by in a system that has turned its back on them & if you don’t see that that’s on you

Hand to God, I fight a never-ending battle to train the clerks at my polling site to stop referring to our voters as “customers.”

Consumerism is *deeply* ingrained in the American psyche, overshadowing even citizens performing their duty and exercising their rights.
The belief that a vote is a type of currency used to purchase a candidate-as-product instead of a collectively wielded power is an ultimate triumph of consumerism.

Im not trying to quote the books of sorrow or anything but one of the reasons i always pick up that collectible is a reminder.

Ignorance is not a passive. It is a living, aggressive failure that angers the hearts of all who seek to evolve.

Ignorance is chosen and i try to not choose that.
"What radicalized you"
I was a sheltered kid from a republican family and then i gained common sense which honestly isnt very hard to do as long as you dont active choose to stay ignorant

The most valuable cultural myth we have is that we can improve ourselves.

It used to be in our public consciousness that this is what we strive to do. And have done before.

Better people turned their shame into action. Small people use their shame as an excuse for nihilism.

As in: their first project was to decide and write the ChatGPT policy for the class.

Because I really need sleep but wanted to get something out there, I decided to break my investigation into yiffpersonality into parts. Enjoy!

The disease we have in this country right now is that we believe our sense of purpose is to make money.

No. You make money as a reward for doing something with purpose. Like running a hotel, or running a restaurant, or selling products.

You forget what you're in the business to do and you'll fail.

What you of the CHOAM directorate seem unable to understand is that you seldom find real loyalties in commerce. When did you last hear of a clerk giving his life for the company? Perhaps your deficiency rests in the false assumption that you can order men to cooperate.
