Totally agree. Completely forgot about pausing EV rebates - I was just so happy Elon wasn't getting it I forgot the implications for China.
I guess we could have expected trade offs.
I am really glad he previously paused the EV rebates.
Lets hope the overall benefits outweigh the impact on our auto industry. They all voted con anyway.

Yes. We already do it with healthcare, power, & liquor. If BC Hydro can run a multi-billion $ energy grid, Canada can run grocery logistics.
It would stabilize prices, reduce inflation, improve food security, &expose profiteering.
