I'm glad that this has happened to a non-VN game or 18+ title for once, because while this shit has been blatantly unacceptable for a while unfortunately there was never going to be the widespread traction something like this has been getting. If they get reinstated please don't stop talking!

Something Metroid Prime 4 related that's not about you-know-who...
The build I recently played had lots of helper text on-screen. You can turn off tutorials, which is nice, because I found that the info Samus got from scanning provided sufficient guidance

In any case, I don't think the new Steam Machine 'kills' anything on the console side.
I think it may end up being mostly incremental volume and, if anything, impacts the still small NUC mini-PC market.

seriously how do you get to a lead role in the games industry without understanding concepts such as "greyboxing" or "bugs not yet fixed in this version". like what is the career path, for these people?

Another thing I'd add to this thread and that I sometimes see missing: Koei-Tecmo isn't the only one making good games in this sub-genre. Fate/Extella Link is one of the best in this genre imo, and while I have some issues with that, Senran was good too! Capcom even made good ones in the past.
hey if you see all the Discourse today and want to like, actually play a musou, you should do that. it's a genre more people should try, because they're really enjoyable games that balance an action power fantasy with crisis management. Most Competent Team Player Simulators.

Great game !
Just finished Ninja Gaiden 4! I have a few issues with it, and only played a bit of post-game, but it's easily one of the best games I've played this year & one of the best pure action games I've played in many years.
I really hope it does well & that the same team makes a NG5! Buy it!

I still don't get why KT refuses to release it in the west. It's entirely localized in english, has no updates, it's tame (it's not X3/XVV), gaming landscape has changed, etc.
They still act like western audiences don't see what happens elsewhere.

Not to beat a decaying horse even further, but my sincerest recommendation when it comes to dating sim releases is instead of mourning LoveR on Steam, just go play Venus Vacation Prism, the latest DOAX game. It's the best dating sim out of a major Japanese publisher this decade by a mile, legit.

Back from watching the chainsaw man movie (lucky it was in a theater nearby). Really good movie, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it's a masterpiece like I've read here and there. Still easily recommended if you've seen the series (don't if not), especially if you can see it on a big screen.

Looking just at the launch week sales performance of each in the US, GoY was down mid single-digit % in unit sales, but dollar sales were up by a similar mid-single digit % and the average price per unit was about 12% higher for GoY than GoT's launch week. So... effectively flat.
