Last night, I got home a few mins before 9pm. By the time I was outside to walk the dog at 9:05, there were a dozen federal agents and local cops on the stairs and lawn of the house directly across the street from me.

As an immigration attorney, I am constantly reminded that what this regime is doing to its citizens would qualify them for asylum had they been coming from another country. Well, at least when we recognized the right to asylum….

Let's pressure the next administration in Detroit to uphold the adage that we're the Paris of the Midwest by planting more trees, creating more parks, and establishing green protected bike lanes like this. These aren't just for enjoyment and recreation, but also for public health.
According to the City of Paris, in the last 10 years 150K trees have been planted & 45ha of parks created in the already hot city, all intended to not only improve quality-of-life today, but also help the city adapt to & manage summer heatwaves of 50℃ (122F) by 2050.
