2. The Norman invasion fleet sail into Pevensey.
3. Castle built at Hastings
4. Norman cavalry runs into the 'Malfosse', (yet to be located natural or defensive ditch) 🏺

Exactly! But so many classes, projects, communities and projects surely should be routinely using this data. Maybe they are just going doing the WMS route, which is pretty but not real data, data. I was rescued by friend who had downloaded the .qml file. I'm going to send them an email later.
mattpope.bsky.social
I'm glad it's not just us that can't find them. It raises a question, unless they dissapeared recently or there is another way, how are people using this resource?
mattpope.bsky.social
@bgs.ac.uk I can find anywhere online with you that can supply the .qml files that unlock the symbiology. I was given the files by someone who downloaded them at least five years ago. Are we missing something?
mattpope.bsky.social
Thank you to everyone who helped me with this but esp to the person who provided the key files that unlocked the correct symbiology 🙏. Some glitches but, behold, the Ice Age sedimentary coverage of Greater London. 🦣🏺

I made these for friends last year, but seeing if anyone else would be interested for xmas? They're painted plaster of paris, modelled from real arrowheads.

£35 a set incl. gift box, gift tag & 24hr SignedFor postage (sorry, can only do UK).

(... & there's more artefacts to come!)

Gosh we have a Daryll Forde lecture theatre next door in anthropology, I'd never given who that person might be was much thought and now I'm wondering why it took me so long.
mattpope.bsky.social
Asking in a little bit of desperation, does anyone know how to unify the colours for BGS mapping polygons or point me in the direction of some help? I've hit a wall, even though I know I've done it before. Is the a file I need to apply?
What I have now is funky but not helpful. @bgs.ac.uk? 🙏
