The gulf between “normal” and “hard” on VF5REVO’s World Stage mode is absurd. Normal is brain-numbing easy, hard features optimal wall combo-using Laus from stage one and 3rd dan Akiras good enough to be executing frame-precise knee combos

All joking aside, the fundamental flaw with some people's view of politics is that no bad result is ever the fault of the bad actor who did it. It's always the fault of every other actor who "failed to stop them". The obvious drawbacks to this way of thinking are somehow obscured to its adherents.

He literally told people he was going to do this.

Democrats told people he was going to do this.

Did folks think it was a joke? Did they not know what a tariff is?

The tariffs could be rolled back TODAY but prices will never go back completely down.

There's 'overwhelming evidence' tariffs have raised consumer prices, says Bank of America
The analysts wrote in a note on Friday that consumers have covered about 50% to 70% of the cost of tariffs to date.

Anything below a GOP plus 15 win is GOOD NEWS for dems.
Dem Aftyn Behn is polling 2 POINTS behind Matt Van Epps (MAGA loco dude) in a Trump +22 district.

The election is Tuesday.

That should scare the shit out of the GOP. If she wins, all bets are off. The GOP Congress is toast. If you have time to help with phone & text banking, please do.

Saying everyone who isn't rich is poor does nothing but water down the meaning of the word to the point where its basically meaningless.

We can say "eat the rich" without mischaracterizing what it means to be poor. And I'll add "poor IN THIS COUNTRY" cause that shit looks different across the globe

“Doing what must be done is genuinely hard” doesn’t just mean these democrats are weak willed. It means *you* figure out how to keep up motivation among the population for vengeance and preventative measures when we’ve gained power by beating them.

This is the thing, right here. It is a collective will problem, forever and always, not just a “we have elected weaklings to represent us.” If it were the latter then presumably we’d see some deviations from that mean from time to time.
The thing is that Doing What Must Be Done is genuinely really hard and requires extraordinary political will! Biden tried to at least make a stab at it, but fell way short.

There's SO much inertia in favor of "ignore it and hope it goes away"

I started realizing over the past couple of years that for lots of folks they think poor = not being able to get whatever I want and baby that's not poor.
I had someone try to argue me down that you can make 100k and be poor.

No, you cannot. Yes you may qualify for subsidies in very high cost of living areas, yes you may struggle to balance your budget. But poor??!! It’s insulting if you are or have ever been poor.
as an ACTUAL poor Black person who has to decide btw which basic needs are gonna get met *whenever* i get a few dollars, it really pisses me off when they say that.

like, yes, you may be a few months away from broke, but you really don't know what poor is like & it shows on here every damn day
