2. It’s also sometimes known as a “billywitch”.
3. It’s unusually loud and clumsy by beetle standards and bangs into lots of things when it flies into your house by mistake.

A memorial service was held on Sunday at the California Academy of Sciences to mourn the passing of Claude, an albino alligator who entertained crowds for years by not doing much at all. San Francisco has long embraced those who stand out from the crowd, and Claude certainly did.
