The more that gerrymandering tries to squeeze more seats out a fixed pool of voters by lowering expected margins of victory, the more vulnerable it becomes to a wave in which the expectations are upset. There are self-interested reasons why many Republican incumbents haven't wanted to redistrict.
This race is close and, given how much Democrats outperformed the polls a few weeks ago, a win is actually possible.

But even a narrow loss in a gerrymandered district Trump won by 22 points last year would be a sign of significant progress.

How many war crimes is that?

Why are we paying her salary?

And then, of course, they'll also gaslight anyone who complains. Because they can say--hey, we're not stopping you from getting vaccines; if you want them, just figure it out yourself.

They don't have to ban vaccines outright. They can just force people to jump through enough hoops to get vaccines that they eventually stop trying and give up.
The CDC has turned off its vaccine search tool.

The vaccines.gov site now gives an error when you enter a valid zip code.

They also removed text saying “Vaccines can help you stay healthy” and added a banner saying the site is being updated.

Good to know that Karoline Leavitt's dad and bro are getting involved after the mom of her nephew was seized for deportation.
However, Leavitts are telling mom to "self-deport" to Brazil, which she left as a kid.
That would cut mom off from her son.

At this point, I wonder if he isn't lying when he says he has "my highest Poll Numbers, ever" since it's entirely possible that's what his aides are telling him. It's quite likely that there's an entire Potemkin village built around Trump right now.

The problem with ICE is not that it's targeting people who aren't criminals. The problem with ICE is that it's an unaccountable secret deportation police. It cannot be reformed under a better president. It can be made less terrible, but the instrument of repression remains for the next tyrant.
