I don't need SNAP to feed myself right now. I'm not on an indefinite furlough without any income. Maybe we could think about how it would feel to be in that situation before we scream at the only party that is trying to fix the shit that millions and millions of our dumbfuck fellow Americans did.

I'm not one of the millions of families that wouldn't have jobs or food through the holidays, so I'm not going to bitch about the votes yesterday. I'm upset, but I can understand it. The GOP was never, ever going to give us ACA. What we did get was a Blue Wave last week because of it.

This morning most North Carolina SNAP beneficiaries saw partial payments on their EBT cards, and I am grateful to NCDHHS for working quickly to get the rest of November's payments out the door as soon as this weekend. We will keep working to make sure families can put food on the table this month.

Today should be a day where all Democrats celebrate our big tent. Moderate Dems won big in statewide races across the country, while Progressive Dems racked up huge victories in cities. All parts of the party won. That's our superpower and we should remember that when we all vote, we all win.
