Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.

For those who don’t pay attention to TN (seems like 99% of yall), Aftyn is running for a district that was a long time Democratic seat and she’s trying to get it back despite Republican gerrymandering. Don’t know what the campaign operation looks like but probably not a bad idea to give $ if you can

lots of ppl believe in the myth of meritocracy. "if it's successful, it must be good!"

but, just for starters, why were the Beatles successful in a way Ray Charles was not? was that meritocracy? or did it have something to do with racism? 1
What we think about Sgt Pepper is less important than what people thought in ‘67: HOLY SHIT!

The internet runs on contrarianism, reification of opinion, and presentism.

But the overwhelming esteem for Pepper—lasting at least until 2000—suggests that it is “one of The Beatles‘ best albums.“
birth of a nation is actually bad. Sgt. Pepper is wildly overrated, and is not even one of the Beatles best records, much less one of the best albums of all time. (it's got some good tracks though.)

Insane but true fact: making US roads as safe as Canadian, Australian, or European roads would save more lives than eliminating murder from the US.

Exclusive: The U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify the swastika, nooses and the Confederate flag as hate symbols.

The military service drafted a new policy that classifies them as “potentially divisive.”

Any other president would be facing an impeachment vote tonight.
By reacting to this in this manner, he’s admitting that he’s ordering our military to commit illegal and unconstitutional acts.
"Their crime? Recording a video that reminded members of the military that they are not supposed to obey illegal orders."

Can you imagine if this had been proclaimed by a democratic president?

One of these outbursts would have been a scandal of the century.

How can he just continue like this?

Not only that but every time he golfs he does it on one of his own properties & charges the government, putting tax money in his private coffers. Each golf trip is a self dealing grift and an unconstitutional emolument.
Trump has played golf more often in five years than Obama did in eight, outpacing his first term by playing golf on 1 in 4 days during his second term and about 1 in 5 over the two terms. He’s on pace to play more than Obama did *in this term alone*.

Begging the media to stop constantly whining about liberals and ask conservatives what the fuck is wrong with them.
Society needs to stop coddling supremacists. Make them sleep in the filthy bed of sticks and filth they made for others; stop making others sleep in the bed so that they can feel comfortable in their mediocrity. Stop entertaining their nonsense. Lock them out of the house so it can be cleaned.
