The bravery, resilience and sacrifice of many in our city to protect and support vulnerable communities show the world Minneapolis’ values. We’re honored the city was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize – and it’s because of your courageous solidarity to promote democracy, human rights and peace.

The clergy here are delivering some righteous truths and if DeLauro refuses to consider them, she's unfit for office, plain and simple.
“Renee Goodman [sic], Alex Pretti – there are no words,” DeLauro said.

“You said there were no words after the murder of those two individuals,” said Rev. Jack Perkins Davidson. “I think the words are ‘Abolish ICE.’”

Folks, as of right now the stunningly talented artist Frazier Irving is homeless and needs your help. He hasn’t got a fundraising page because he doesn’t want charity but he is selling pages. Please give his shop a look and buy something that appeals if you can.

On the long list of demands that would have been preferable to body cams: stop using chemical weapons that are banned in war on civilians.

Also, Abolish ICE.
Tear gas is banned in international warfare, yet classified as a “riot control agent” that law enforcement can use for crowd control.

“It just doesn’t work well, and it hits the weakest people the most, and causes the most complications in them,” an anesthesiology professor at Duke University said.

the arrest of journalists in minneapolis, including don lemon, is more evidence that the only move the administration knows how to make is to use force, and does not know how to respond when that force is met with defiance and indifference.
