So I'm pretty sure a three star knows that an order to strike alleged combatants who are hors de combat is facially illegal, in case anyone's still having any hangups on whether Bradley needs to be in the dock after this
November 28, 2025 at 5:55 PM
Bradley needs to be relieved of command and extractEd from the military: they’ve turned him, can trust him to carry out FURTHER illegal orders, likely progressing to the murder of American civilians in domestic operation.
It’s not just Pete. That Special Commander and whoever actually pressed any buttons to carry out the attack all need to be identified, charged, and prosecuted for war crimes. No such thing as “just following orders.”

War crimes. Part of the strategy here is to tie portions of the military to the mast… forcing them to invest themselves in the survival of the regime

It's not often that "simple morality" and "effective politics" line up so perfectly, but we have to hope DC's Democrats are smart enough to seize the moment with both hands

Also, Hegseth is coming for Sen. Mark Kelly because he reminded troops that they have a duty not to commit crimes *like this one*

Making an appropriately big deal out of this blunts that attack and demonstrates the need for what Kelly and company did.

I think almost by definition a verbal order like this should be treated as an unlawful order: the fact it was delivered verbally needs to be taken as a consciousness/premonition of guilt… and the folks who carried out the orders without a paper trail were idiots. 1/
Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes.

If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

Powell Doctrine seems relevant in assessing this tragedy: troops should only be committed with clear orders, a clear purpose, and a clear definition of victory.

A ‘war on crime’ is just frivolous political can, and now a soldier is dead, another fighting for his life. 1/
National Guard aren’t ICE or Border Patrol. They didn’t sign up looking to harass and repress people. They’re volunteers, part time, in case of emergency. They didn’t ask for this.

West Virginia National Guard shouldn’t have been deployed in Washington DC.
