No one shld lose sight of the fact that the Guard was only in DC as part of an extended political messaging stunt. The shooter is guilty for the attacks/carnage. Donald Trump is responsible for them. This is the collateral damage of Trump abusing his powers as President.
Pirro: "These Guardsmen and all who are here to protect the District are the line that separates a civilized society from a barbaric one."

Good night, kids!
RIP U.S. Army Spc. Sarah Beckstrom. My deepest condolences to her family!
I have so many thoughts about this young woman's death. The bottom line is that she was ordered to DC in a political show by the president. If he had obeyed a court order, she would be alive. Damn him! 💙💙

I wonder if my NFL picks can go 0 for 3 today.

I mean, they _can_. I wonder if they _will_.

#Ravens might need to be worried.

So...Pickens runs into the defender, tosses him aside, and it's DPI?

Home cooking for Dallas, as usual. #NFL

Jesus, can you do worse, @cnn.com ?

On your home page, you've decided to make the shooting in DC a story about Trump. But you've buried the story that his administration granted asylum.

Worse is your coverage of the charges being dropped in GA.

Trump was not being charged with "Election Fraud"

New Justice Department filings reveal that it was Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem who chose to defy a federal court order by transferring more than 100 Venezuelan men into Salvadoran custody to be imprisoned.

I'm going to say Trump instigated the violence today.

Best to get it in now, before the right-wing propagandists get started.

This is _exactly_ the outcome Trump wanted when he decided to send the National Guard to DC. This was never about fighting crime. He wants to create a police state.

Note that the BBC openly admits in an email to me that the removal of this claim about Trump's world-historical corruption was done "on legal advice."

Translation: Trump's threat of a lawsuit, no matter how bogus, has now been rewarded.

The CDC website under RFK Jr. now argues that we “can’t say vaccines don’t cause autism” because studies haven’t ruled out every possible scenario.
It’s wild to see this misunderstanding of science on a federal health website, but it’s also an opportunity to explain how the scientific process works

During his confirmation hearing, RFK Jr. swore under oath that he would not remove or alter CDC language stating that vaccines do NOT cause autism.

He lied.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Art. I of the Constitution gives Congress the power to make rules and regulations for the armed forces — including codes of discipline and strictures against following illegal orders. You can’t punish members of Congress for articulating those rules. Also protected by Speech and Debate Clause.

I swore an oath to the Constitution in 1986. I've upheld it through 25 years of service and every day since I retired.

If Trump's trying to intimidate me, it won’t work. I’ve given too much to our country to be silenced by bullies who care more about power than the Constitution.

Impatient? See if you qualify for another library system with shorter queues. 😉
