He's trying to appeal to the miserable old bastards who think the young have it too easy, when in fact compared with what my generation got (full grants, tuition fees paid, good pay, lots of jobs, easy mortgages), they have next to nothing.

So often those who say we should spur lower paid workers on by cutting pay or benefits, are the same voices who justify large bonuses to already highly paid executives as being essential incentives.
