Sesame Street, the world's most inclusive neighbourhood, made its debut on this day in 1969.
The movie poster for "Jaws" (1975), but instead of a shark we see Cookie Monster rising from the depths to devour the (admittedly rather large) cookie which is bobbing about on the surface of the water. The title now reads 'JARS'.

On the way to and from school look at just one thing that you have often passed but never looked at very closely - it may be a street lamp, a small plant in a hedgerow, someone's front gate, the wall and windows of an ofice building, the balcony of a house, an object in a shop window. You are a secret service agent, and exact knowledge of this object is your password. Your life depends on it. Learn it by heart, and then describe it to the fellow agent who has to test you by your knowledge.

Judge Fear, one of the Dark Judges and occasional Judge Dredd botherer. He's got a batwing helmet on his head, with a gated, (though thankfully closed), opening where his mouth should be. There are man-traps slung across each shoulder and he's dressed in a distressed leather judge's outfit with a ragged black robe over the top.

'Frankenstein' is an absolutely stunning achievement and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Cyber Baroque chamber orchestra RONDO VENIZIANO's incredible animated video, 'La Serenissima', would often pop up unannounced on afternoon telly in the early 80s. Here they are performing live on Kafka-esque gameshow 3-2-1, and it's an amazing sight to see (and hear)!
